In Torchlight, you decide on a combination of considered one of three characters compounded with one of three pets and hack, shoot and cast your way through the depths within the city. The sport is filled with loot drops which range from the common towards the ultra-rare and you'll be clogging your gutters pockets for hours upon hours because you make your way with the game. Visually the sport brings an entertaining cartoon style towards the fantasy genre giving everyone a cartoon-y glow and over-emphasized features. The world of Torchlight is a colorful one, relating to the levels as well as the characters and stays interesting throughout. When you dig deeper and deeper below the counter, you'll find a good amount of different environments that keep things interesting.

When you are in the middle of an exceptionally large pack of crooks, you will notice a little slow-down. When swinging your way through a pack of enemies, the overall game feels like chaos from time to time, but the difficulty never extends to a point where it's unmanageable (until you forget to apply your healing potions). While you dig deeper in the lower floors, enemies grow to immense size and stick out as impressive barriers to your progress. It's quite satisfying to destroy particularly large enemies and watch as your Fame rises along with your experience.
