Need for Speed Underground 2 also features online play via Xbox Live. To put it mildly, the racing is much more thrilling because you are racing against real people within their customized cars. In online play, there is a freedom to generate whatever cars you need and you don’t need to panic about the visual points. That means if you think roof scoops are dumb and carbon fiber is ugly, you don’t need to use it. Huzzah! It is fun to determine all of the different cars people develop and it is great to be able to show off your creations around the globe. You can race in most of the different race types with as much as 6 people or enter a free of charge run mode so you can just cruise around and showcase. The game keeps track of all sorts of statistics and rankings so it is easy to find and enter races against people of similar skill. The sport runs fairly smoothly online as well. This is arguably the most effective online racing game for Xbox at this stage simply because building custom cars and showing them off is really darn fun.

Graphics and Sound
Graphically, Dependence on Speed Underground 2 looks good. The game doesn’t move as fast there aren’t as many nifty visual effects happening, but the game still looks nice. Most significantly, the framerate is very smooth. The action looked great this past year and looks just like sharp now.
