Don Bradman Cricket 14 Download Mediafire for PC

Don Bradman Cricket 14 Download PC Review
The center of the game is actually the controls. Big Ant made some bold design decisions with batting and bowling controls, completely ditching convention and reinventing how you communicate with the overall game. It provides removed or minimised a lot of the weird on-screen aids and focused player attention towards exactly what the character is performing on screen. And yes it works wonderfully well.

For batting, one thumbstick controls foot movement, other determines the direction of your shot. face and Shoulder buttons serve as modifiers, enabling you to play attacking, defensive, lofted, and even trick shots much like the Dilscoop and reverse sweep.

For bowling, one thumbstick controls the kind of delivery, direction and line of swing, cut or spin. One other controls the bowler's delivery and jump arm. Face buttons control length. But pace bowling is more and easier fun than spin, which happens to be weird.

After you get accustomed to it, all of it works quite beautifully. Batting feels satisfying and natural. Rather than watching some stupid on-screen pitch speed and indicator meter (there are many visual assists, however you can make them off once you've mastered the controls), you're actually watching the ball itself, and instinctively picking a shot to experience. Once you get the hang of it it's exactly as it should be - and is great fun. Bowling is similarly fun - it feels great plotting a batsman's downfall and after that executing it making use of the subtle variations and sudden surprises inside a bowler's arsenal. Fielding is meh. But hey, it's fielding. The system functions good enough.

This gameplay sweetness does come at a cost. This is simply not a simple game to find out. It's not much of a pick-up-and-play casual experience by any stretch from the imagination. To really enjoy Don Bradman Cricket '14, you will need to invest lots of time practising and learning its controls (the overall game offers both net stadium and practice practice). But if you, its smart off.

Once you discover the fundamentals, a virtually bewildering selection of gameplay modes and customisation options await. Wish to play a two-day, single-innings complement five-ball overs? Because why not? You can even design your own personalseries and tournaments, and entire seasons and tours featuring multiple sorts of matches.

There's an occupation mode for which you may play like a single player throughout his career. (I spent 30 minutes padded up and twiddling my thumbs inside the pavilion being a one-drop batsman inside a county game, watching Michael Carberry along with his opening partner place on a hundred years stand. Easily one among my most bizarrely fun videogame experiences.)

It is possible to design players, teams and even umpires (the overall game lacks licensed players out from the box, but it's a breeze downloading your favourite teams how the player community has generated online. The truth is, it's one thing the overall game prompts one to do).
