The 3rd Street Saints gang have grown to be superstars in Stilwater after their exploits in Saints Row 2 and they are now a household name, and even have their own clothing line and energy drink. Unfortunately in Saints Row: Another the international crime organization, the Syndicate, has moved in to the Saints turf and still have now taken full control over the location of Stilwater. This forces the Saints to relocate to the run-down industrial town of Steelport.

The Syndicate has started to move into Steelport, and also this is when the Third Street Saints gang choose to take a stand. The Syndicate control three separate gangs in Steelport, the Morning Star, the Luchadores and the Deckers, and today it's all-out gang warfare relating to the Saints and these three gangs. The federal government Special Tactical Anti-Gang (STAG) units have been tasked to prevent any gang warfare in Steelport.

GAMEPLAY:
In Saints Row: Another you're taking power over the best choice of the Third Street Saints gang, and finishing of missions get you money, cars, weapons along with respect. Respect earned may be spent to boost your character's attributes, like firearm or hand-to-hand combat skills.

Money may be used to purchase clothes, weapons, cars and upgrades for existing weapons and cars, such as adding a grenade launcher or scopes to an assault rifle. Money doubles to buy some new gang's appearance and headquarters and to purchase properties and shops within Steelport.

Weapons from previous Saints Row games return, and will include pistols, SMGs, assault rifles, grenades, chainsaws, satchel bombs, swords and sledgehammers. New weapons in Saints Row: The next include:

Air Strikes - Laser guided attacks which allowyou to definitelysign up forgroups of adversaries immediately.
Predator Drones - Employing a top-down view you control your drone and may drop various bomb types onto your target.
RC Gun - Shoot this innovative gun with a vehicle to attach a bug to the vehicle. This bug lets you remotely control the automobile.

Saints Row: The 3rd also provides a cooperative game mode and the game may be played co-operatively with one other player. The 2nd player can participate in all missions and activities within the game.
